At Leakfix, we don’t just install waterproofing systems—we deliver solutions backed by confidence and guaranteed performance. In today’s world, true value isn’t just about getting the lowest price; it's about the peace of mind that comes from knowing your property is protected.
For this project, we implemented a tapered insulation system to correct the roof falls, ensuring optimal water drainage. To verify the integrity of the waterproofing, we conducted a low-voltage test, and to further safeguard the investment, we provided a comprehensive maintenance plan, ensuring the asset remains protected throughout its design life.
This planter box had been leaking for years, causing frustration for the homeowners as multiple repair attempts failed to solve the problem. No one seemed to have a lasting solution—until we stepped in. To put an end to the issue, we installed a double-layer modified bitumen system, ensuring a permanent fix to the long-standing leaks. Engineered for durability and long-term performance, this high-quality system now provides exceptional protection against water ingress. With a 20-year product warranty, the homeowners can finally enjoy their planter box without worrying about leaks ever again.
A multi-residential building was experiencing rising damp due to failing waterproofing, leading to moisture problems and potential structural damage. To resolve this, we removed the saturated topping slab, replaced the failed waterproofing with a high-performance system, installed a new screed to fall for better drainage, and added a sump to prevent future water pooling. The entire area was then sealed with a premium waterproofing membrane, ensuring long-term protection. With the new system in place, backed by a 20-year warranty, the building is now safeguarded against further moisture issues, providing a dry and safe environment for residents.
In this case, we were engaged to investigate and resolve persistent leaks that had led to mold growth in the stairwells and water ingress into habitable spaces, posing both structural and health risks. Our process began with a desktop study, where we analyzed available documentation, previous repair attempts, and environmental conditions to understand potential failure points.
We then applied an elimination approach, systematically identifying suspected problem areas, implementing targeted repairs, and monitoring the results to assess their effectiveness. Through this method, we eventually pinpointed the primary cause—failed waterproofing on one of the building’s roofs. Once identified, we replaced the failing waterproofing with a high-performance modified bitumen system, ensuring durability and long-term protection against future water ingress.
Over the past few years, we have partnered with some of Australia's leading waterproofing suppliers to deliver technical training sessions aimed at upskilling contractors nationwide. Through these hands-on workshops, we have trained hundreds of professionals, providing them with practical experience in advanced waterproofing techniques. By focusing on real-world applications and problem-solving, our training has helped contractors improve installation quality, reduce failures, and enhance industry standards. As a result, we are actively contributing to the development of a more skilled and knowledgeable workforce, ensuring long-term improvements in waterproofing practices across Australia.
This roof had persistent ponding issues, causing membrane wear and leak risks. We installed a tapered PIR insulation system, creating proper falls and directing water to drains.
By reshaping the roof with precision-cut insulation, we eliminated ponding while enhancing thermal performance. The result? A durable, leak-free roof with reduced maintenance.
